Great Job, glad you posted the update. A while ago there was a little topic about red-dots, check this topic: p200.ezboard.com/fnikonhistoricalsocietyfrm2.showMessage?topicID=1397.topic There you will find a few more numbers that are not listed on your site,including 6592290,6593922 without red-dots and 6579590 with a red dot. Thanks guys! I have added a couple of new numbers. Please keep them coming. If possible please also include a photo of the serial numbers if you have any new red dot numbers to send me. I am maintaining the list as a service for all the fellow NHS members and Nikon collectors. I want to make the list as accurate as possible, that's why I want to see the photo before I add the number the to list.

there are 2 listed with xxx's in the sn on this website,

This is one of our projects in 2007.
I need volunteers to check ebay,Craig list, Yahoo Japan, and famous camera stores for red dot numbers. We have under 300 numbers collected out of a total of 17,000... I know there are multiple members tracking this same subject, is it time to divide our efforts to get more numbers? Matthew, The other day when I was checking Yahoo Japan, there were 81 pages of stuff under the "Nikon Manual Focus"! If you promise you keep that site in check I promise with the help of Christopher,Richard and a couple of us here(USA) we can double or triple our efforts. Kiu |
