Hi Maurice, welcome here!
I do not think Westlicht Auctions will sell stolen objects. They know very well the identity of the objects they're offering. This particular lens has been shown in various publications (Koch, Brazcko, etc.). You may ask Westlicht about the origin or about the present legitimate owner. Regards, Nico |

My apologies for the confusion! I thought that I've read somewhere that it was stolen after it was it has made it's appearance at an show (in the USA).

In the catalogue Westlicht mentions Dietmar Machold as the seller, before him the late Jose Wu Chang owned this lens.
Are they not well known in NHS-circles? |
