Thanks for the information. I just stated what I read in Rotoloni's book, apparently he didn't know either that there was a 60001 around, otherwise he
would have said so in his book.

The vintage S3 has taken a beating(pricewise) in recent years.I Sold 6300099 for $750 a while back...it was nowhere close to the condition of this camera but I
paid less anyway...
I started the bidding, I'm in for $800, go ahead and beat me to it. 
This seller is trying to unload one with a micro! Under $3K starting bid!!

The new S3 sells for $1500 or less in Japan, I have a strong suspicion that has to do something with it.
