are in red,

Try May of 1951 for manufacture date, not late 1951. NK stopped marking all its products with the MIOJ mark around that month, although some lenses continued
to dribble out as NK used up pre-engraved RF coupling rings. WES

My MIOJ "S" is serial #6094528....within 47 of this one.
