I am happy to find this new forum. I have a beautiful, nearly mint condition Nikon F with the Photomic head on top. However, I have two things to
"fix". So I would like peoples opinions.
1. I have opened the battery compartment on top of the head (by the way my Photomic has the red circle on the on/off flag), there is a slight amount of corrosion, that is green on the terminal. What is the best way to clean this out?
2. I have found on the internet that a viable alternative is an adapter from criscam.com The MR-9. However, how many batteries would mine take? I assume it takes two, I have looked in old Nikon manuals and cannot seem to find that info. I do not want to use air batteries as I will not be using it often enough, and don't want to keep replacing batteries.
