I want to replace the top plate (serial number side) of a Nikon F body. Can anyone help me with the steps to replace this? Sure would appreciate it. I
don't see a way to remove the file rewind nob and hotshoe plate. I'd also like to replace the mirror.

I found the F repair manual and did it. I'll attack the mirror next.
