Nice find, they are really hard to find.
I was watching that auction, it looks strange here in this picture, I've never seen one with black screws on the shoe:

I wonder if the screw are phillips head? I can't tell by the picture.
As for the price being a bargain, I really don't want to be pessimistic but obviously you paid market value.

Make sure you ask the seller if they have the felt-lined box.

As a last note, I was in Chicago Camera show in May 2007 and Bob Rotoloni had one on his table, including the box. Price was $1200.
