Is it a coincidence, or is it a fact???
I know a lotta black dial S2s came with black normals!!
I've seen tooo many to consider it's not a fact!!!

NK actually transitioned to black mountings BEFORE it introduced the SP and the black-dial S2. Take a look at the second edition of the S2 instructions. In
theory, all SPs and black-dial S2s should have come with black-mount normals-if they came with a normal lens. In reality, second bodies were purchased without
normals by owners who already had chrome-mt normals, and mix and matching occurred both by owners and in stores. I sold my S3 (back in 1971) with a chrome-mt
5o f2 because I wanted to sell the camera and the lens and wanted to keep the black-mount normal that had originally come with the S3. That the sort of thing
that happened. Even today, normals are constantly being separated from their original cameras on ebay. Unfortunate, but that is the real world. WES
