I received my one and only advance copy on Monday and it seems to have come out well. The printer has done a really fabulous job using high quality paper and reproduction. Tony's color section looks great. I am happy we chose to do it in Belgium.

Now about delivery. Grays of Westminster in London probably has his first order by now and some have been shipped to Lindemann's in Germany. Also a small shipment is being airmailed to my US distributor in Oregon, Camerabooks.com.. They should have it shortly and if you really want it now go to there website and put your order in. (camerabooks.com). Also it will be activated on Amazon as soon as they arrive in Oregon.

I will not get any books until about Feb. 1st. They need to be put on a boat in England, then to NY where they get off loaded and put on a truck to Oregon. Not until they get there can I get my first shipment. I plan on ordering 100 right away.

Those of you who wish to purchase a 'signed' copy directly from me will, unfortunately, have to wait till February. I will have them and can supply them to you. I will sign each one and also insert a special 'label' stating your copy was purchased directly from me. There will be info in the upcoming Journal with pricing. It is heavy, 5 pounds, but priority mail in the uS is not bad and foreign can be done as well. So if you can wait info will be in NHS98 due out in about 10-12 days.

For those of you in England Grays of Westminster has received a shipment of books as he is only an hour from the publisher. So it is there if you wish an early copy.

Those of you in Europe that I see at the Houten show should know that I will have books with me. i am having 100 copies shipped to Peter Lownds in Rotterdam that i will have with me at the show. I plan on having a table by Peter so look for us there.

As for the US...Camerabooks.com has received a small shipment via airmail at great expense but he may still have some left. However, it is not a large amount so contact them ASAP if you want an early copy.

Two bits of news. The book has not left the English dock as yet. Seems to have been a slight screw up by the shipping company. But I have been notified as of today that it will sail on Jan 14th and is due into Portland Oregon on or about Feb. 20th. What happened to NY you may ask? We're going through the Panama Canal and straight to the West coast. The time comes out about the same but it eliminates a truck having to traverse the US in the winter! Sounds like a good idea to me.

Second..Camerabooks.com has received just today a small shipment via airmail. Only about 40 copies but if you really need one now go to their website right away. I am sure they will be gone soon. And there will no others till the boat docks!!

Those of you whom I will see at Houten on the 17th of February will actually get a shot at a signed copy before those of us here in the States! Strange how these things work.

Those 2 dozen of you who have sent checks and paypal are on my list and they will be mailed as soon as I have them in hand! Thank you for your support!

Now this is strange.......

My last book shows up on ebay on a regular basis and never went for this much. Hmmmm those dozen copies on my shelf are looking better all the time!
