Brugge Belgium for those who should not know, this is in English called Bruges.
I am happy to be the organiser of this trip, and will guide Bob, hope he will enjoy as much as those I guided to
Nikon Sendai earlier this year.
Bruges is a small city in the Flemisch part of the country, some call it Venice of the North, but this title is since long no more valid
as the sea withdraw some 10 miles (there is still Zeebrugge - which you can translate as Bruges at the sea - part of Bruges, and one of the largest containerterminals in the world.
Bruges is very attractive and any one traveling to Belgium should visit. Don't use the touristic paths, there are only the big shops, nothing special, but prepare well and walk in the small quiet streets, find café Medard where you can eat well for only 5 usd (yes it exists) or find the café where over 350 different kinds of Belgian beer are served, sometimes they have the beer of Westvleteren (very hard to obtain-and said by Parker (US specialist, who passed away some weeks ago if I am right) to be the best beer in the whole world. Believe me, it is. Still artisanal brewed by real monks following old traditions.

But enough publicity for Bruges. I am excited to guide Bob to "die Keure", now a modern printing company, but a long existing small family company, they moved out a couple of months ago to new buildings in the industrial aerea of Bruges, but afterwards..... and that is a promise to Bob, we will have a nice diner in a real old environment. I had told Bob we would drive to Damme, a small place not far away, to restaurant "Siphon". Many of you will know this, it is world famous for its original kitchen, and did you know, that every one there is equal, even our King is treated just like any one else.
Unfortunately on friday closing day as they told me on the phone. But I found another place in "Lissewege" also not far from Bruges and with a very old history, going back to the crusades.

I am sure Bob will enjoy the trip (exept if they are not busy printing for one or another reason, but even than)

just got email from printer, printing will start next friday or next monday
he is inviting me to visit them while printing, so he will phone me next friday to make
appointment
it will not be ready before Christmas, sorry for that
indeed, printing will be finished at the end of next week (taking 3 - 4 days) but than it has to
be sent to the binding company (as this is a big book, so it needs very special binding which they
cannot do themselves) Binding company is nearby, so this takes only few time to move the books

after binding which will take longer than a week, books will be transported to the editor in London

After that we will have to wait : how and where to order, individual shipping ? bulk shipping to some adresses
for further shipping ?

But I think all of us will be glad to hear from Bob how to order and when to expect.
