Today through a good photobuddy who lives down in the States and bid for me, I won an ebay auction for another user S3. It doesn't look particularly good,
(7.5 cosmetics) but is 9.5 mechanically and optically, so it's exactly my kind of camera. I assume that because the S3 is not a popular
shooter's camera, this one had only one bid, from my friend, and I got it for $595.00 US. And with the Canadian dollar so strong, it's an even better
bargain.
I know the collectors will likely sneer a what a common, collectibly uninteresting and essentialy valueless (to them) camera this is, but for me, it's as if I won the lottery.
