I wonder how many of these did Leica sell, seems like the copying would be off. Where you position the document or picture and actual lens position is almost 3
inches off to the side. Using the rangefinder on the camera is much closer, I would think!

you focus via the lens/finder tube, then slide the camera over to the lens position. The stage is used on/with a copy stand.
