I'm sure you know this lens is very rare and it is not likely that there are many spare parts around. Your most likely place for success is USA or the home of Nikon in Japan. Can you tell me the serial number of your lens? It might be a useful addition for my nikon serial number database: www.photosynthesis.co.nz/nikon/serialno.html If your lens has a serial number below 174701 can you post up a close picture of the lens mount (from an angle to show it is 3 dimensions). I am curious to know why some early lenses cannot fit AI cameras, and why others cannot fit the FG, F5 or F6. Regards - Roland
