Maybe it was, and maybe it wasn't.
The photos didn't show much, but the lens looked pretty foggy to me. If the optics in the camera were as bad, then this was nothing more than a parts camera or novice collectors shelf-queen. I thought about bidding on it myself, but the spectre of getting something that was not useable as a shooter without a lot of money for repairs kept me away. I'd rather go for the sure thing and spend the extra money and get a useable user from KEH than gamble on one like this. |

I don't think I have ever seen a lens that looked so bad!!
This camera seems to be living in Florida, which is always something to be wary of if the camera is old. |

$1000 seems a lot for a very worn 25 with only the front cap.
