Nikon F2 DATA Serial #'s List / Production Figures

It's believed that some 500-1,000 F2 DATA's were ever manufatured. The "Hand-Crafted" F2 DATA was (arguably) the costlier Nikon F2 ever-made (as per same period price lists, the F2 DATA was more expensive that the F2H).

We're trying to record all of the Nikon F2 DATA's. Please, kindly, let us know about your F2 DATA Set:
1. Body Serial#
2. Finder type and Serial#
3. Back type and Serial #'s (both outter and inner #'s)
Even if you own ONLY the DATA-BODY or the DATA-BACK. That way, we might realize about who has the matching back for our lonely body, or the body for our DATA-Back.

Yes you can do it. I do not care about it. Koga is one of the most popular family name in southern part of Japan particurally in northern part of Kyusyu island. When I was in a primary school. there are five kogas in my class.

I've just returned.

Actually, I haven't collected that many F2 numbers. However, I do record the earliest and latest ones I've found. So far, the earliest F2 DATA is 7572843, and the latest is 7938269.

Hi, I have one F2 DATA 7720538, Black with Photomic AS finder and MF 10 (71799) stamped inside in white ink (B7720021) Original Body #? I also have an MF11 (71750) stamped inside in white ink (B7776344) Body #? and (M304815) Motor #?

Hello jerryj38. Just added your F2 DATA serial #'s. The S# M304815 stamped inside of the MF-11 corresponds to the 250 Magazine. Please note that your info was split by three in order to mention all of the F2 DATA Serial #'s provided. Thanks for your contribution to this list!

May be I am lucky.
In the list I find body nr 7720021, this body has MF 10 nr 71623 but the back is for body nr 7721818 (which is not yet in the list)
I see that matching back is owned by member jerryj38. Please Jerry can you contact webmaster Fred to obtain my e-mail (Fred please transmit it to him, thanks) Would like to change if you agree, my MF10 is in perfect condition. If you live in the States I would suggest you send your back to Bob Rotoloni, I meet him the 11th of November, so he could bring back mine (if both are in equal shape) Of course I will be glad to pay the shipping costs.

I also have body 7776038 with matching MF11 nr 72303 and matching MF1 nr 305127 (both numbers Body and MF1 are painted inside the MF 11)

By the way, I'm adding your Nikon F2 DATA info tonight, as follows:

2) MF10 s# 71623 for F2 DATA Body s# 7721818 (BACK ONLY. Body s# stamped in white ink)
3) F2 DATA Body s# 7776038 w/matching MF11 s# 72303 & MF1 s# 305127 (F2 DATA Body & MF1 s#'s stamped ib white ink inside the MF 11)

Please, kindly, correct if any mistakes and, if possible, provide the finder types and its serial#'s so our DATA-DATA-base would be even better.
