The cameras seem totally legit, interesting way to sell, but the prices are VERY optimistic, especially the S2 with too late a lens.

prices did not change when the sp turned 50, the prices on the F in the 640xxxx range fluctuate almost daily, the 645xxxx to 69xxxxx range is stable $150 -250 range, the 70-73 range bounces around. it all depends on if you are looking for that true 50 year old camera in 2009. then you need to look for the 6400001 to 6405000 range. and you will have to come up with $$$$.

Kiu's estimate seems low, but he is probably about correct.

These bodies alone went as high as $18,000 15 years ago, but recent prices are indeed well sub 8k, even for nice examples. I sold four of them in 2005 averaging about 5500 with lenses.

Even with Bob Rotoloni's new book, I do not think collector prices are likely to ever go up again, so you might as well sell now.

Given the number of fakes only an auction house like Westlicht can make buyers feel secure. Almost impossible to sell on eBay unless buyers know you.

Personally with those new photos, I would trust buying your camera on eBay.
