sorry gentlemen, in the first series I put by accident three times the same pictures, it is difficult, but once you know how to do it is easy, but first job is making all pictures smaller before uploading, otherwise it takes hours...

in the first series : one is, you had guessed it, one of the printing machines, fully automatic, you don't even hear they are busy printing, and you can eat from the ground, as clean as in a clinic

Good, you have your gallery set up. You're almost there.

Pretty easy:

You need to click on the image icon, once your pictures appear, then just click on the picture you want displayed.

just got email from printer, printing will start next friday or next monday
he is inviting me to visit them while printing, so he will phone me next friday to make
appointment
it will not be ready before Christmas, sorry for that
indeed, printing will be finished at the end of next week (taking 3 - 4 days) but than it has to
be sent to the binding company (as this is a big book, so it needs very special binding which they
cannot do themselves) Binding...

Today Bob visited me and I had suggested him to visit the printing company, as I knew they were ready for his book.
This company I know since I was young, I mean younger than today....
So Bob was excited.
This afternoon we drove to Bruges, my native town, and the first printing proof was ready.It must have been a hell of a job.
Over 500 pages, format din A4 (21 x 29 cm approx.) hard cover, over 1300 pictures (thanks to Tony Hurst) some of them in full colour.

Brugge Belgium for those who should not know, this is in English called Bruges.
I am happy to be the organiser of this trip, and will guide Bob, hope he will enjoy as much as those I guided to
Nikon Sendai earlier this year.
Bruges is a small city in the Flemisch part of the country, some call it Venice of the North, but this title is since long no more valid
as the sea withdraw some 10 miles (there is still Zeebrugge - which you can translate as Bruges at the sea - part...

Bob was right ??!! he goes to Houten in Holland. Every one knows this is part of "the Netherlands"
by the way, why the Netherland"s" ? When you travel to Gambia they also say it is not Gambia, it is "the Gambia".
So I am realy interested in knowing why it is "the" and why a s at the end ?

and Houten is part of Utrecht! Only a part of Holland.

Gentlemen

I go to Holland on the 7th for my usual visit to the Houten show. As you know my book is being printed in Brugge Belgium. By pure chance i am going to be 20 miles from Brugge on Friday the 9th and I am trying to arrange a visit to the press to see what progress they are making. It is possible that some proofs will be available as they are beginning to prepare the presses on Monday!

Gentlemen,

As of today the printer has ordered the paper, the CDs are ready to be delivered to them and monies have been paid.

It will be printed in Brugge, Belgium. Hopefully the presses will begin to run next week.

Publisher has raised the cover price to 55 pounds or $110 but I think it will sell in the US for a flat $100.

Binding takes longer than printing but it gets trucked straight to England thru the tunnel then the US copies must come by boat....
